New releases from Citizen Eco-Drive are now in stock including Stiletto Blade Ceramics and the Royal Marines Commando Super Tough range: Robust, durable, and harnessig Citizen's Eco-Drive award winning technology, this ultra-high specification collection is designed to be 'unstoppable'. The one piece cases are constructed from a toughened super-titanium which has a surface hardness four times that of standard titanium. As well as being exceptionally strong, titanium is 40% lighter than stainless steel and resistant to corrosion. The entry level model in the range of four is a 300m Water Resistant timepiece on Kevlar Strap, retailing at £299.00.

Citizen has launched a brand new collection of watches that commemorate the Royal Air Force Red Arrows. The Red Arrows Skyhawk A-T is radio–controlled and picks up radio signals both automatically and on demand meaning this watch has the most accurate time keeping available. Its features world time in 43 cities, 2 alarms, 1/100 second chronograph, perpetual calendar, GMT display, power reserve indicator and more. The Red Arrows Chronograph also includes a Red Arrows plane at the tip of the second hand. There is also the Red Hawk model. This watch has a pilot slide rule dial ring, non-reflective glass, large luminous markers for easy readability, dual time, screw-back case and WR200. 1st April 2010 It is a sad day for us at ERIC A BIRD as our resident Horologist, Ray Morris retires today. This means that we will no longer be able to offer a clock repair service. If you are loooking for a good clock repairer please contact the British Horological Institute at Upton Near Newark.
